Magic Eraser Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 July 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Magic Eraser's Web App and optional Chrome extension (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Contact us at [email protected].
The Service
Magic Eraser lets you submit an image and a mask identifying Unwanted Objects for an automated Edit. The Service may use third-party providers to process an Edit. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service where reasonably necessary, including to maintain security, manage capacity, or comply with law.
The Chrome extension is optional. Its purpose is to transfer an image you choose from a web page to Magic Eraser; it does not grant access to content you are not allowed to access or download.
Your content and permissions
You retain any rights you have in images and other content you submit ("Your Content"). You grant Magic Eraser and its service providers a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide right to host, copy, process, and transmit Your Content only as necessary to provide the requested Edit, operate and secure the Service, and comply with law.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed to submit Your Content and request the Edit. Do not submit content that infringes another person's rights, violates privacy or publicity rights, contains unlawful material, or is otherwise prohibited by law.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Service unlawfully or to violate another person's rights;
- submit images you are not entitled to use or edit;
- try to bypass usage limits, security measures, access controls, or technical restrictions;
- interfere with the Service, its providers, or other users;
- use automated means to access the Service except through interfaces we expressly make available; or
- use the extension to circumvent paywalls, login restrictions, or other access controls.
Edits and outputs
Edits are automated and may be inaccurate, incomplete, unavailable, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing an output before relying on, publishing, or sharing it. Magic Eraser does not guarantee that an Edit will remove every Unwanted Object or preserve all other image details.
You are responsible for using outputs lawfully and for respecting the rights of people depicted in them. You must not present an output as authentic when doing so would be misleading or unlawful.
Availability and third parties
The Service depends on internet access and third-party providers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, any particular processing speed, or that every Edit will complete. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and policies.
Intellectual property
Magic Eraser and its software, design, branding, and other Service content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable law. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magic Eraser will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from or related to the Service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for the Service or others, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws that apply in the place where Magic Eraser is established, except where mandatory consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will publish the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Continuing to use the Service after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms, where permitted by law.
